Noida, is considered as the most modern, greener city, in the state of Uttar Pradesh. It is well connected with all nearby regions Delhi, Gurugram, Faridabad, Gaziabad. Noida is also popular for its malls, which caters to all segments of society from low budget products/outlets to high end cuisine /brands. Every mall in Noida provides something unique to its visitors ranging from rich shopping experience, specialized cuisine restaurants, movie experience, theme malls, adventure parks, playing alleys etc. In all it provides complete entertainment for the whole family.

Here’s the list of things one can look forward to do in Noida-

Worlds of Wonder – Commonly known as WOW, is an outdoor amusement and water park. Spread across huge area, it provides many thrilling and amazing rides. People of all age groups can enjoy here – be it rides, water park or if someone only wants to sit. Must go place if you enjoy intoxicating rides.

DLF, Great Mall of India (Sec 18 Noida) – It is the biggest mall of Noida, and is best if one needs to do serious shopping or enjoy fine dining. Not only the mall has many exclusive store of high end brands/outlets but is also a complete package of entertainment. It’s unique feature includes –

  • Ski India – It is an indoor snow park. One can enjoy various snow games – sliding, ice skating to name a few. The cost per pax is Rs 1000 for 45 mins. I thoroughly enjoyed playing in the snow.
  • Smaash – It is an alley of gaming and entertainment center. It is a blend of virtual reality, video games and sports (net practice of cricket and football)
One needs to buy a recharge card of minimum Rs 500, in which one can play any number of games and sport. It also has a beautiful bowling alley which cost separately. This place is enjoyed by everyone (kids and adults).

Oh!max Mall (Greater Noida) – Theme Based Indoor wonderland for kids and adults to enjoy. It has many different sections to explore from Taj chamber, Titanic, Mirror Maze, Amazon Jungle to name a few. It is little loud but kids would enjoy.

KidzeniaIndoor themed park for kids. It empowers and educate kids by real life role playing activities. The role play helps kids to learn different career, work, money management. It has 100+ role playing activities for kids. In my opinion ideal for age 6+yrs. And 1 day is just not enough to cover all role plays.

The other good malls includes Great India Place, Galleria – famous for shopping and dining.

Some of the non-mall options which can be considered:

Rashtriya Dalit Prerna Sthal & Green Garden – Is a memorial dedicated to inspirational leaders of Dalit community, who devoted their life to social justice and equality. It is spread across 80 acres, but area open to public is very limited. One can spend only couple of hours at a max (if you have small kids), as gardens for playing/picnic are closed. Plus it has a entry ticket though very nominal Rs10 per pax. It would have been a very good place if more area especially garden area could be open for public.

Medicinal cum Herbal Park – It is a beautiful garden where all types of medicinal and herbal plants are available. The concept of the garden is to make people aware of natural medicines plants which can help to cure both minor and serious ailments. Currently entry to this place is free, but i feel it should have a entry ticket for people to value more and attract more tourists. It is very well connected to aqua line metro, nearest station is Sec- 137. Also, it doesn’t have guide who can provide information/knowledge about the plants.
